The hull number can be found originally on the starboard side of the boat's transom. Older boats have the hull number on a plate in the motor well, at the stern inside the boat, or at the helm station.

By adding your hull number in the Skippo app, you have it close at hand when you need it, for example, if an accident should happen. The hull number is often needed if you need to file a police report or a damage report with your insurance company.

In the Skippo app, you can add your hull number by going to the “Boat” tab, clicking on the boat card, and then navigating to the “Boat” tab. Scroll to the bottom of the page, where you will find your hull number.
