How do I create a Skippo-account?
By creating an account in the Skippo app, you gain access to several features that enhance your experience at sea.
The App
To create an account in the Skippo app, start the app and follow the login flow where you choose "Create Account". You can register with your email address, Google, or Apple.
The Web
Go to the login flow and select "Create Account". Email address, password, and name are mandatory, while date of birth is optional and helps us tailor our communication to you.
Why create an account?
Once you've created an account, you'll have access to the following features:
- Boat Profile: Add boat model, dimensions, boat name, and picture to optimize your experience in the app.
- Digital Logbook: Save your plotter tracks and favourite places, making it easy to return to your special spots.
- AIS: Discover nearby boats with AIS technology, increasing safety and awareness on the water.
- Safety Feature: "Man overboard" is an important safety feature that helps you act quickly if an accident occurs.
- Symbol Explanation: Understand the symbols on nautical charts with our detailed explanation.
- Synchronization Across Devices: Keep your data and routes synchronized across all your devices for a seamless experience.
- Share Boat Information: Share your boat information, including position, with friends and family for increased safety and community on the water.
