How do I create a Skippo-account?
To navigate with the app, sync and save your data, view AIS boats on the nautical chart, and save routes, places, and tracks, you need an account with Skippo. You also need an account to start a subscription. You can easily do this in the Skippo app or on www.skippo.se.
You use the same account, login credentials, and method in the app as on the web. You can use the Skippo app on multiple devices with the same login. In that case, you log in with the same account, login credentials, and method to sync data between devices.
To create an account in the Skippo app, follow these steps:
Download the Skippo app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Open the app and click on "Create new account".
Choose whether you want to create an account with Google, Apple, or email.
If you choose email, enter your email and choose a password. Then click "Create account".
If you choose Google or Apple, follow the on-screen instructions.
Select the type of boat you own or have access to and fill in information about the boat. This information is used to customize planning and navigation in the app for you and your boat. You can supplement information about your boat later in the app.
Choose how you want to navigate; with START, SMART, or PREMIUM. You can proceed without a navigation package by clicking "Continue without navigation".
Choose whether you want to add detailed information about harbors by subscribing to Harbor Guide. You can proceed without a subscription by clicking "Continue without".
Choose your home port. This information is used to simplify your route planning.
Now you are ready and have created an account with Skippo. You can always change or add information in your profile My Skippo later.
To create an account on Skippo.se, follow these steps:
Go to www.skippo.se.
In the upper right corner, click on "Log in".
In the box that opens, click "Create one here".
Choose whether you want to create an account with Google, Apple, or email.
If you choose email, enter your email and choose a password. Then click "Create account".
If you choose Google or Apple, follow the on-screen instructions.
Now you have created an account with Skippo.
