How do I save and manage routes, places, and tracks?
You can easily save your routes, places, and completed trips in the app. Follow the steps below to save and manage these:
Save a custom marked place
- Go to the “Plan” tab.
- Click on the chart at the place you want to save.
- Click the “Save” button.
- Name the place. You can also add a comment, pictures, a tag, and choose a list or category to structure your places.
- Click the “Save place” button to save.
Save a route
- Go to the “Plan” tab.
- Click on the chart to choose the endpoint.
- Then choose the starting point. You can do this by freely searching in the search field, selecting home port, choosing a place on the chart, or choosing your current position.
- Adjust the starting point and endpoint. Click on the points and hold while moving them.
- Add or remove waypoints along the route as necessary.
- When satisfied with your route, choose “Save and close”.
- Name your route:
- Go to “My Skippo”.
- Click on the “My Routes” icon.
- Click on the route you want to rename.
- In the upper right corner, there are three dots, click on them.
- Select “Rename”.
- Give your route a name.
- Click “Save”.
Save a track
- Go to “Navigate”.
- Start the plotter by selecting “Navigate without route”.
- Enjoy your trip and then click “Stop route”.
- Select “Save route”.
- Name the route for better organization among your tracks.
By following these steps, you can easily manage and organize your routes, places, and tracks in the Skippo app for a smoother navigation experience.
