Hydrographica produces special nautical charts of Sweden's coasts and larger lakes.
Compared to the Swedish Maritime Administration's charts (Sjöfartsverket), Hydrographica's special nautical charts are more tailored to recreational boaters. The depth contours for 2 and 3 meters are adapted to the needs of boating sports, thus opening up new, safe routes in previously ""closed"" areas. The measurements have also revealed a number of previously unreported shallows.
You can add Hydrographica's special nautical charts through a separate subscription that also gives you access to over 1500 harbor guide maps with aerial photos. In addition, you get detailed harbor descriptions and tips on which bays to anchor in under different weather conditions.
